Our Team

Ed Petrazzolo
President & CEO
Ed has over thirty years experience in manufacturing, product development, and new product introduction in the technology markets. He spent twenty years with Digital Equipment Corporation, founded two technology start-up companies in Arizona, and was a partner in a merger and acquisition firm before joining MicroPen Technologies in 2003. Ed received a BA in History from Holy Cross College and an MA from Boston College.
Dr. William J. Grande
Vice President, Research and Business Development
Bill joined MicroPen Technologies in 2004, after serving on the faculty of the Microelectronics Engineering Department at Rochester Institute of Technology. He has over twenty years experience in design and fabrication of opto-electronics and MEMS devices as a senior research scientist at Kodak and as visiting scientist at Cornell. Bill received a BS in Electrical and Chemical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Ph.D in Applied Physics from Cornell.
Eric Van Wormer
Vice President, Operations
Eric is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. He joined MicroPen Technologies in 1990 as a design engineer for MicroPen® Systems. Over the years, Eric has assumed increasing responsibilities in manufacturing operations and new product/new process development. He has a BSCE from Clarkson University.
Glenn M. Mehalek
Director of Engineering
Glenn joined MicroPen Technologies in 2008 as Director of Engineering with responsibilities for process engineering, manufacturing process design, new product process design and implementation, and engineering support of corporate operations and product development. Glenn joined MicroPen Technologies after a sixteen year career with Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics where he managed the Software Design Center, chaired the corporate Product Software Task Force and served as Engineering Fellow. Glenn also worked as a Manager of Product Development for the Eastman Kodak Company. He is a certified Six-Sigma Black Belt. Glenn received a BSEE and MSEE from Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute and attended the Advanced Management Program at Duke University.
Bruce Trombley
Chief Financial Officer
Bruce has been MicroPen Technologies’ Controller since 2003. He began his career in public accounting at Bonadio, Insero & Company. Bruce later joined Pulsafeeder as Finance Manager and Gillette Machine & Tool Co. as VP of Finance. He has a BS in Accounting from Rochester Institute of Technology.
Roxanne Panipinto
Manager of Accounting and Administration
Roxanne joined MicroPen Technologies in 2000, and is responsible for all accounting activities, financial transactions, internal audit, and financial systems of the company. In addition, she manages the Corporate Human Resource Department and Community Relations.
Mike McArthur
Director of Sales & Marketing
Mike joined MicroPen Technologies in 2002 as Sales Manager for our resistor products and has steadily grown Ohmcraft’s high-performance resistor business. In 2005, Mike assumed responsibility for the management of all corporate sales and marketing to include channel management, customer service, and new product introduction for medical devices, biomedical devices, and high-performance resistors. Previously, Mike held sales and product management positions at VIDEK and Bausch & Lomb.
